81-year-old golfer makes back-to-back holes-in-one

An 81-year-old golfer made a once in a lifetime shot — and then did it again.

Eddie Manderville, who sometimes goes by the name Fast Eddie or Steady Eddie, has been playing at Theo Wirth Golf Course in Minneapolis for 58 years and already had eight hole-in-ones — quite a feat in itself — but this outing was different.

"I've been around a long time. I've been blessed to have a strong golf game," Manderville says.

Strong enough to beat 67 million-to-one odds by getting consecutive aces on two holes totaling 292 yards.

On Friday night, Manderville was playing golf with some friends. He hit one short and let it bounce onto the green. It teetered on the edge, and then ... plunk.

" I said to Eddie 'it fell!' That sucker had fallen down," friend Dave Rundles says.

Manderville got a hole-in-one.

And on the next hole? It happened again.

"I couldn't believe it! I almost fell out," Rundles says.

"I've had eight hole in ones, so I thought I saw everything," said Manderville. "But never two in a row!"

Funny, the guy doesn't look a day over 80.
