LeBron sends selfie on way to jury duty

Even royalty has to sit with commoners once in a while. But at least King James doesn't mind helping turn the wheels of justice while having to do so.

LeBron James was all smiles on his Instagram account as he prepared to make his way to the courtroom to report for jury duty Thursday morning and tweeted the following: "Jury duty time. Time to serve my civic duty."

No word on if the NBA's biggest star will actually serve at a trial but at least he brought a book to keep himself occupied while getting that $15 per diem.

LeBron James' wedding is so secret invites don't have time or location

LeBron James and his fiancee Savannah Brinson have sent out their wedding invites and — in an attempt to throw off curious fans and the paparazzi — the nuptials are SO top secret they don't list a time or location ... but instead send invited guests on a clandestine retrieval mission.

According to the invites — obtained by TMZ — King James and his future bride are still tying the knot on the weekend of Sept.13th to 15th, somewhere in San Diego (which has become public knowledge from the "Save the Weekend" note the couple sent out back in March. That preliminary invite featured a caricature of the couple and their two sons, LeBron Jr, 8, and Bryce, 5, all grinning and dressed up flying a plane into San Diego.

But the latest invites are super vague ... only listing a "Welcome Barbecue" at 7pm on Friday, Sept 13th. Then listing a "Farewell Brunch" at 10:30 am Sunday.

But there no mention of an address or the location of the ceremony!

One thing is for sure, Friday the 13th's BBQ falls on the beginning Yom Kippur, so don't expect any Jewish wedding crashers.

Guests are now instructed to call a top secret phone number by August 1st to continue the scavenger hunt. After guests call the number, someone will get back to them with actual details.

It's probably a good thing the couple didn't hire that Snowden guy as their wedding planner.
